Yin & Pin
Join us for Yin & Pin, a blissful and restorative afternoon/evening of Yin Yoga followed by acupuncture. Guided by Blanche Alexander (Fort Green Yoga Teacher) and Jane Ferguson (Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner).
Please allow for a two-hour session with an hour of dedicated yin yoga to be followed by a guided meditation and acupuncture treatment.
Blanche Alexander Bio
Previously a ballroom dancer, Blanche experienced a profound shift in her state of mind, physical wellbeing and confidence as a result her own daily practice. This inspired Blanche to begin her yoga teaching journey 4 years ago. Bringing attention and understanding to the flow of her movement helped create enhanced balance and strength, leading to more creativity and expression in her life.
Blanche has a passion for anatomy and the physical asana practice, but ultimately loves teaching as it has the ability to connect people with their own body and being. Holding a space for people to feel empowered whilst finding calm and clarity.
Jane Ferguson Bio
Jane completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Melbourne and has completed further study at Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of TCM in China and at Taipei Tzuchi Hospital in Taiwan.
From a young age she was exposed to acupuncture as she observed her father practice as a veterinarian.
Having worked with Steven Clavey since 2015, Jane has been mentored in Chinese herbal medicine for women’s health. It has been an invaluable experience that has enriched her as a practitioner. Jane is passionate about making acupuncture accessible to all people. She has spent time working in smaller communities in Indonesia, as well as volunteering at many community based acupuncture clinics in Melbourne.
Jane helps patients to manage a range of symptoms including pain, stress and fatigue. She has a particular interest in working with both male and female patients with fertility issues.

We have a selection of beautiful spaces available for booking. From the lush Green Room cafe space to the fully appointed Yoga Studio and Treatment Room.
The Yoga Studio
Our beautiful studio space can be rented for your next event, class or workshop. The studio fits 25 mats comfortably, has heating/cooling and a quality audio system. The studio also provides you with access to change rooms with shower facilities, lockers and filtered water. Yoga mats, bolsters and blocks are also provided for use if required. The Green Room
‘The Green Room’ at Fort Green is a semi-private dining space that opens up into our courtyard. The room can be set up with tables and chairs in multiple formations for seated events (seating for 12 adults) or cleared out for standing events (capacity 30 people). The space can be booked in conjunction with the courtyard if weather permits for larger events. Please contact us for more information.
The Fort Green courtyard is the place to be when the sun is shining! The semi-covered area has 4 large picnic tables (each seating 8 comfortably) and is surrounded by greenery. The courtyard is accessible via the Green Room and can be booked in conjunction with that space to accommodate more guests, weather permitting. It also has rear access, making it dog friendly!
