Ready to begin your journey as a Mat Pilates Teacher? Our trainings are a world class, contemporary and educational format for all aspiring Mat Pilates teachers and practitioners.
Students will fulfil online learning modules prior to the in-person content, delivered over 8 days.
Meet your Course Facilitators

Miriam Jones is a certified Pilates instructor, personal trainer, allied health assistant, workplace trainer and assessor, body work practitioner and a clinical physiology student.
With 20+ years experience in teaching in the fields of Pilates, fitness, barre, and movement, Miriam is a natural and warm teacher and is well known across Australia.
With an eye for detail and a playful heart, her sought after training sessions are fun and engaging.

Bannie is the founder of Fort Green Studio and has been operating a highly successful studio for almost 7 years. Bannie is an experienced Pilates and Barre instructor, and her teaching style is reflective of the Fort Green philosophy – accessible, contemporary, and uplifting.
Bannie is committed to empowering her students to teach in a functional and engaging way through the facilitation of safe and practical movement in each class.

Cecily is a much loved and respected Melbourne Mat Pilates, Yoga and Meditation Teacher. Cecily’s positive attitude, upbeat teaching style and warming nature is welcomed by all. With over 17 years of teaching experience and over 10 years facilitating teacher trainings.
Cecily’s wealth of knowledge delves into anatomy, functional movement and industry experience. Cecily provides her students with supportive and practical teaching tools to help students on their journey to find their true authenticity as a Mat Pilates instructor.

Siobhan is the Studio Manager and lead Pilates and Barre instructor at Fort Green. She has a wealth of managerial and teaching experience at some of Melbourne's most reputable studios.
Siobhan thrives on supporting her students to feel uplifted and empowered through their movement practice. Siobhan is extensively trained in both Mat and reformer pilates and supports her students through correct alignment and technique.
Siobhan's teaching style is professional, supportive, and her creative and dynamic classes focus on alignment and strength.
150 Hour Training -
Online & Face to Face.

Our course is a combination of online learning (approx. 25 hours) and practical face to face (approx. 75 hours)
Students will also be required to fulfil prerequisite hours (including attending at least 10 Fort Green Pilates classes) and completing assigned assessment tasks throughout the course.
Our course has been carefully designed to equip you with the necessary practical and theoretical skills to be a confident, capable, and informed Pilates instructor. In addition to learning the repertoire, you will develop the skills to deliver dynamic, beautifully sequenced and functional Pilates classes to set you off on your career. -
Students will be given access to the online learning portal 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the face to face course.
Our students will meet in person at either our Richmond or Northcote studios on all of the following dates:
November- 7th, 8th, 9th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 22nd & 23rd 2025.Where:
The face to face portion of the training is held across our 2 x beautiful Fort Green studios.

Early bird $2,000 (until 31/6/2025) or Full Price $2,500.

Our course is accredited by ESSA (Exercise & Sport Science Australia).
Once you have completed our course, you will be a fully certified Mat Pilates Teacher and globally recognised. -

Our training enables flexibility with online learning and practical face to face experience for our students. Each day, you’ll be given the opportunity to practice, discuss content with our expert trainers, teach sequences, and have full access to a professional and fully equipped studio.

Prenatal Yoga Training

Are you a yoga teacher looking to deepen your knowledge on how to support prenatal students in a class?
Deepen, refresh or learn how to safely and confidently support your prenatal students with modifications for all stages of pregnancy in a general class. You will develop a deep understanding about the different trimesters, safe Asana as well as postures to help prepare the pregnant woman for birth.
You will also be given the skills to teach and sequence a Prenatal Yoga class.
